In 2024, Simons entered the Atlantic Canadian market with the grand opening of their first store in Halifax. Shortly after, Simons and the Emera Blue Nose Marathon teamed up to launch an exciting new initiative—one that reflects our shared commitment to sustainability.
Simons is redefining sustainable fashion by prioritizing responsible materials, reducing emissions, and using low-impact processes. Together, we’re bringing that same forward-thinking approach to Atlantic Canada’s largest running event.
How the Simons Green Bib Works
When registering for the Emera Blue Nose Marathon, participants can choose the Simons Green Bib option. This means:
- No race shirt
- No Finished’er medal
- A financial donation will be made to Coastal Action, a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the environment in Nova Scotia’s South Shore region and beyond.
