The Blue Nose Half Marathon takes participants on a 21.1-kilometre (13.1 miles) adventure through the vibrant streets of Halifax, Nova Scotia. This scenic route allows you to experience several of Halifax’s main attractions including Citadel Hill, Point Pleasant Park and the beautiful downtown core.
The 2018 route will use the same course as the years past – but in reverse! This means you’ll run towards and through Point Pleasant park in the beginning (running DOWN the hills, instead of up them), next you’ll enjoy the scenery through Halifax’s beautiful north end before you embark on the finish line. From our vibrant and enthusiastic cheering stations to the “Giv’er Crew” who will help you up and over the hills in the park, to the people of Halifax cheering you on – we know that this half marathon will be like nothing you have ever experienced.
So go ahead and Giv’er a try! Put the Blue Nose half marathon on your to-do list for 2018!
Experienced runner? Why not Giv’er Twice with the 5 KM on Saturday and a half marathon on Sunday. Twice the run is twice the fun!
