Watching the Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon can be almost as memorable as running it. Haligonians and visitors alike will line streets in the HRM to watch runners and walkers from across the province, and around the world.
Here are Myles' 10 tips as a spectator to “Just Giv'er”
1. Decide who you want to cheer for and make a plan! Check out the website for the various events and race times...follow Team Myles members as they track their training up to race day. 2. Create a cheering sign to bring along with you on race day. Use words like "Lookin' Good!" or "Just Giv'er!" 3. Host a cheering party on you lawn. Not sure what you need? Visit the website. 4. Check the weather on the morning of the race and dress appropriately. Don't forget your sunscreen or sou'wester! 5. Watch the drama unfold at the start of finish line... 6. Remember the waterfront!
